1)My most successful art work would have to be... umm Probably my tile. Honestly I really liked that project cause it was fun and I actually gave a lot of effort on it, It ended up looking really good after too. 2)There was one project that i just didn't feel like doing at first i hated it, it was hard long and very complicated; This was my box. I had no clue how to even start it at first then i had help from money mike so i started working on my walls and bottom but at the same time i was working on my spoon too so that was taking up time for me to work on my box but i was almost done with my spoon so i had to just finish it and id work on the box tomorrow. Tomorrow comes so i work on the box and Im focused and doing work on this box but right when i finished my walls i dropped my tray holding all of them and destroyed ALL of them. So i had to redo them all again which was really stressful, finally i finished the redos and i cared them carefully to the back so i could roll on my design and when I was doing that i just happen to press down to hard and i stretched out my walls. After that I just gave up I couldn't do it anymore, but I had multiple people tell me I can do it and that I just got to believe and take it step by step. 3) My two art pieces that have shown great growth to me would have to be of course my tile and umm probably my sphere even tho im not complete done with it, it just was a great project and I had great ideas with it. But in my opinion those two art works made my clay making skills way better, I never was good at clay work only drawing but these two projects really tested my abilities. 4) Honestly this is the first time ive actually used this much clay in a class, this has been an awesome semester working with all this clay and doing multiple experements with it. The one thing that really frustrated me the most about clay was the mess! Clay is so dirty and if your wearing black your screwed but even tho its messy you can create so many amazing things with clay. |
